Hi Asara! I couldn't wait to tell you the latest success One Command story in my life! As you know, Denny retired on June 1st. On June 2nd the company made an announcement that they were offering an enhancement package to encourage others to retire, as they are having huge money issues (so glad we took the lump sum when Denny left). Anyway, we didn't hear about this until a few days ago. We were really upset about this because it amounted to a six-month salary, plus 2 years of free medical coverage (a $550 a month expense for us now). I called Human Resources at the electric company and told them how we felt, that it wasn't fair that Denny was not informed of this package and given the opportunity to stay another month to qualify. She was very sorry about it as they had thought of Denny right away since he had literally left one day short of the cutoff date, but they couldn't make any exceptions or others in similar situations would be asking for the same treatment, she told me. I asked her for the contact information for the President and CEO of the company, as well as the Director of the department where this plan was being generated. She gave me the information and I spoke with our Financial Planner about it. He heartily agreed that we should pursue it, even if Denny only got part of the money. For a few hours I worked on the letter, considered the possibilities, then suddenly said, HELLOOOOO! The One Command!!!! So I commanded that IDKH Denny has the entire amount of money plus the 2 years of medical coverage without any need for anything from us whatsoever...no letters, no attorneys etc, he simply has it, I only know he does now and I am fulfilled. I stacked a few more commands about our debts being reduced to zero (since he's retired we have paid off 14 bills, leaving just 3). The very next day, Dawn from HR called me as I was leaving for my office and said, "I wanted to tell you this myself because I was so happy about it and couldn't BELIEVE that it happened, but I went in to talk with Legal after our conversation and was shocked to hear him say, 'Give it to him...he deserves it' YESSSSS!!! This amounts to close to $50,000 (including the 24 months of medical coverage.) Isn't that not the most amazing thing!!!!! We did nothing at all except make a phone call and do The One Command. In addition, clients are calling me right and left, referring friends to me. Right now I have $350 in my wallet that I haven't deposited yet!! Usually I am making a beeline to the bank, but we don't need to do that and plus I know more is coming on a daily basis. I AM SO GRATEFUL.
